Having the AC on didn't do anything to hurt my times. If anything, it can help your car run better IF you have it running in the staging lanes. That's the only way my fans will turn on, if the car is running and AC is on. I need a manual fan switch.

thats what i do!

Instead of turning on the A/C to get the fans to turn on you may be better off just turning on your heater in the staging lanes. The heat coming out of the heater is coming straight out of your coolant. Not sure which one would be better though, just a thought.

I have my 180* thermo, turn on my fans to high with my manual fan switch, and turn on the heater.
SLP CAI, K&N, Whisper Lid, 180* thermo, manual fan switch, 3.42 gears, Auburn Pro LSD, Wester\'s PCM Tuning, TSP Rumbler, High Flow Cat. Best Time: 9.909@71.58 (1/8 mile)

There is NOTHING cool about that. Having the A/C on WILL drip water on the track. It just takes a tiny bit of water on the track to make a car lose control.

YOUR A/C SHOULD BE OFF ANYWHERE ON TRACK PROPERTY!!

You must be REAL slow if you need the AC to get thru your 1/4 mile run

Agreed.. I would have words with anyone I saw dripping fluids on purpose, especially those with their A/C on as well.

Anyone who puts MY life and car in danger is not a friend of mine.

Even after you shut your AC off in the lanes you continue to drip.
