Good luck getting to #1 on the ls1tech Keith !

Thanks guys.

Quijeeboe, the sprial flows are allright.. still very loud. It's hard to describe the sound. The best explination I can give is at wot the car SCREAMS. I think there are better alternatives for resonaters for loudmouths.

Justin Kirkham, The weather was pretty crappy. The average loss for the day was 2mph. In better weather I expect to pick up some MPH. I also need to tune the car for WOT though. The track was too busy to make any autotap logs.

Chuck Wilson, Stock internal NA record. I think I'm #5 or #6 now.

mw02, This was a concern of mine as well. I asked the drag racing council of LS1Tech and my car would be allowed to compete in the ladders.

merlinsrealm, I need .23 ET. It will not be easy. With better weather, a k-member, WOT tuning and an elec water pump I thikn that should cover it.. but still, I need to make it down the track and HOOK the car to achieve the #. Until that happens The car is still just an 11.4 car. I know there are a lot of competitors for the # as well so it won't be easy.

Thanks guys.

Remember he has a converter: high-stall cars can pull better et's with less mph.

My God look at that '60!!! Nice, congratulations.

Just know that any 1.4? 60ft is a 10 second pass....So look into your MPH on the top end. even with the better weather you will still be low on your MPH through the traps.... If you dont have a cut out on your car yet...get one on...there is another 2MPH. Also, if you have to run a MAFT. Autotap your base and use the MAFT to adjust. Leave the base alone at that point. adjust your WOT closed so that you have an inital # to work with....When opening the cutout adjust the maft another 2% richer than closed.

I work on the LS1's all the time so if you need anything email me.

Good luck making the #......

LMAO, cutout..hahahahahahhhahahahah. Ok, I'm better now, really, hahahahhaahaha. His exhaust setup couldn't be any more free flowing unless he took it off. Yeah Keith, MAFT is where it's at, forget that LS1edit junk. Read before you post man!

Thanks for the compliments and concern Eric.

I have autotap to scan my car and can custom edit my PCM as well.. so no need for MAFT.. My exhaust setup is LT's w/3" X-pipe and moroso spiral flows. The car is obnoxiously loud and screams at WOT.

Well then big mouth...show me in this post where he has edit done?????? I am trying to help him. Its a quick fix to help him to his goal. So before you run your mouth how about you read....Unless he is running a straight pipe a cutout will help....do your homework before you run your mouth.....

BTW....I dont see anything stating you are running an LS1 so unless you you have anything useful to post keep your comments to your self.....

Wah, wah, wah, cry me a river, and then build yourself a bridge and get over it. He is the great and almighty MAGNUS!! He does not need your mere mortal assistance, he is great and all powerful.

Oh, and don't worry, I've done my homework, and it shows. My car is faster than yours. I'm not going to jack Keith's thread. He has made an incredible accomplishment with all that he had to overcome to get to 11.49.

LS1 Edit is WAY better than the MAFT, you can do everything w/LS1 Edit, MAFT can get you tuned close but LS1 Edit can put you on the money

Ummm Dude not to be rude but he has a 2002 WS6 T/A. So I don't think you're faster than he is.. Just a casual observation.. I do however give congrats to Magnus on the sub 11.5 pass..

Ok....You all are missing what the point was...I know LS1 Edit works...Even with Edit there are times when Weather, A cutout like I suggested, or Any changes after edit was done for example can change A/F ratios that Short term solutions like a MAFT would help him at the track that nite. I am sure Keith is not using edit on the fly and will need to make changes to his edit program from time to time.

Keith do what you want Bro.....I am only making suggestions to help you on the fly at track.

I'm always open to suggestion but am usually pretty hard headed with what I want to do. I know what I want to do with the car and have a lot of teh future, or at least the immediate future planned out.

I'm in no hurry but on the to-do list is:
Front hal's R's(JUST for looks. I want MAD AIR!)
Rear air bag (level out the launch)
tubular k-member (less weight = more air)

This time at the track I had about 2/3 of gas or so.. 40 lbs there.. door pannels on, 15 lbs there, laptop and torque wrench in the car 5 lbs.. that's about it. That's about the weight of the cage, 65.5 lbs.
