• good/bad night at the track....

new best at low boost (7 psi)
13.5 @ 106 2.0 60 ft only clean run of the day.

then I left my light on in the car and drained the batt, this caused issues with the msd. Spark blowout at full boost sucks. Plus when I turned up the boost the clutch stopped holding anything past much more then 5-7 psi, rpms just shot up to rev limiter instantly, this quickly led to the beast not wanting to shift or go into gear at all :( causing me to abort all future runs during which I FINALLY got my launch down for new best and maybe record of 1.7 60 ft on the 5 speed :D

still ran many 13.5s 103-5s with this problem.

all in all it was nice, I knew the clutch was dead already.

ran many 13.5s @ 103-5 with 1.7 60 ft aborting at about the 1/8 mile due to tranny problems.

ran one 13.5 at 106 with 2.0 60ft, low boost clean run.

most of all, Im happy to have the launch down good :D 1.7s on the 5 speed OWNZJOO, who needs automatics. This was still with a little spin, so more to be had with new clutch and practice ...

5speed stays in teh car now, screw the auto swap!

:D

btw we have alot of video from the night, I'll post them when they are ready.

Congrats man!

If you had an auto with a stall that could have been a low 1.6 60'! Do the auto man!!!

but think of it this way, you won't have clutch problems with an auto. ;)

Tiago if I were you I woudl keep the auto still in mind but run the %-speed till dead, your Centerforce has been in for awhile, like a year or 2 right?

What are your plans another centerforce? Anything else? Maybe lighten the flywheel up a bit if you need to resurface it.

You got a daily driver now, rape that T5 till its spitting gears down the 1/4 mile

yea its too expensive to do the swap right now, plus Im getting the 60s Ive always wanted, and I like the 5 speed so it stays. Plans are calling for a spec stage 3. The centerforce has been in for about 2 and a half years, and Ive put it through hell and back so Im not *****in that its dead. :D
