  • ran my crap again

I decided to run my car again friday night after i had my magnaflow muffler put on and a 180 thermo. The week before i ran a 16.3 at 84 mph with the free mods. Here are my time for this friday:
    1st run
    r/t: 1.394
    60': (no sensor)
    1/8: 10.294
    1/4: 15.938
    mph: 86.05

2nd Run ( minus the spare tire and heavy book bag)
    r/t: .883
60' (sensor wasnt working in my lane)
    1/8: 10.273
    1/4: 15.8
mph: 86.40As you can see much improvement over my stock run. The muffler sounds awesome with the stock tube size. No rice sound. Has a medium deep sound to it. very nice muffler, for only 89 bucks.

That muffler had ZERO effect on your times.

comparing the 1/8th times, pretty much correct.

i'd imagine your 60' was slightly better. mufflers don't help 60's

Both of those times are from his latest run, he didn't post his old run broken down like that.

More than likely it did elp my run because i can feel a very nice seat of the pants difference in acceleration, torque, and top end since i got the muffler. So it did help my times because i couldnt get into the 15's until i got it.

I'd have to agree with him, you probably just launched better or went on a better night. Weather plays a big role in times.
