Last night was Street Wars, and I won uncontested. I ran in the 6 cylinder Domestic NA class, because I knew it was an easy $100 and a trophy. Anyway, in time trails, my first pass, I had to shift into 4th before the 1/4 mile mark! I was kind of ticked bcause I knew I was losing time, but knew I had to have run a good time.
I ran 15.1@91.5mph. Doesn't look great, and it's right about the same as my STOCK time on the timeslips page, so yuo say "who cares"? Well, that time was at HRP, a track known to be more than .5 seconds faster than this track at least.
This 15.1 is half a second faster than my previous best at Idalou, and 2 mph faster also! The density altitude reached an amazing best for Idalou (possibly best ever for this track) at just over 3000 feet! I don't have the page off hand for the conversion, but I am sure it has better than a 14.5 or so in her at sea level!
New mods since my last trip to this track include: Pacesetter ceramic coated headers and the no cat mod. I give the Pacesetters !
*ADDED* Here's my briefcase on Yahoo. The pic named DSC00425 is a good one of myself and my trophy!
