I went 99.46 mph on a 13.89 run tonight. 100mph is so close.
I'm too tired to write about it all, but my best run of the night was a 13.82 @ 98.98 on a 1.97 60'. The bummer is I bounced the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift. :( Otherwise I would of gotten a new best.

So all in all it was a good night. The track was empty b/c there is a big all nighter event tonight.
I wasted the first 1.5 hr running with my exhuast on. I got frustrated b/c the best I could muster was 14.1s. So I got to work pulling my muffler and tip. After about 15 mins of monkeying w/ hot exhaust parts I got it out. The guy next to me in the pits with a trailered 'stang thought it was funny that I yanked my whole exhaust.
So I hop in and go down to the stagging lanes. Boom 2.01 60' 8.88 @79.53 1/8 13.86 @98.61 1/4
I hot lap it, miss 3rd....

I let the car sit for 10 mins and go back for more. 2.02, 8.9 @79.51, 13.87 @98.85

I'm pleased. I know I can drop atleast 60-70 lbs off the car. And if I can get another freak low 1.9 60' I can run 13.6-13.7 and maybe see 100mph too.
