  • What kinda time to expect

Hey, I got myself a 1996 Camaro 3.8L A4, I just put it in storage for the winter, but already I ahve a start on next spring, I have never done the quater mile before, though hopefully next year will be the year, I cant afford much right now, but I jsut bought a Dynomax muffler for a Z28, the SLP Cold Air Intake, and a B&M Shift kit.

With those mods alone, what do you guys think my quater mile time would be? Rougly of course, I am jsut curious tis all If you have any other ideas for cheap effective mods, please let me know, it wont help for speed, but I also want to do a rear disk brake conversion, with slotted rotors and green stuff pads

3.42's and 3.08's are both stock gears, and no 3.42's won't hurt your gas mileage. Check your door sticker for Y87 which would be 3.42's with limited slip
other codes are GU6 which would be 3.42
and GU4 which would be 3.08
