  • 1/4th exspectations?

Considering that i am running a 15.5 stock, what do you all think that i can run all other things equal with-
    1)FTRA
    2)K&N filter
    3)Port & Polished TB
    4)RK sports headers
    5)Magnaflow cats
    6)Magnaflow cat back
    7)3.42 gears
Just wondering if anyone knows what i can exspect to run with these basic bolt ons, or what someone is running that has this basic set up and simalar driving abilities.
2002 M5 camaro- VTR CAI, custom cat-back exhaust, battery compacitor, pullie, lowering springs, 32mm sway bar, cross-drilled slotted rotars. 1-10\" L7 in cubby.

ReodDai asked this in the other forum you posted this in..

What are you basing "15.5 stock" off of? Have you ever run your car in the 1/4 mile? Are you assuming that time because of your 1/8th time?

        Also, it's 'expectations'

That sux, a 14.8, all that money and i will only drop less than a second? Yeah, this just confirms that i should just go with a turbo.

The mods you listen don't do that much horsepower wise, all they really do is make the car more efficient and pave the way to increase horsepower (ei: FI or NOS or the N/A route). All you did was minor exhaust and intake work and put gears in it lol.

I say skip the headers, and get LSD with the 3.42s.

high 14s, maybe even better then a 14.8 depending on how well you drive.

3.42s and lsd, can make yeled you 2.0 60's rule of thumb is .1 in the 60 ft = .2 in the 1/4.

just hte gears and lsd might get you a 15.1 or so.

Exhasut I am not sure how much of a difference it makes on 3.8Ls, but from what I have read, the headers are superbly better then stock exhasut manifolds.

Youre a M5, screw the 3.42s, grow some balls and get AT LEAST 3.73s

yeha for automatics you should get 3.42's but for manual get some 3.73's
from your mods you should be running anywhere from 14.6-14.8.
I am basing my quarter mile times from the recent race I had, my friend ran his GT on the track and got a 15.2 and 15.15.
I beat him twice and lost to him once. So I am guessing I run about 15.2 or 15.3, driver helps so he must have ****ed up when I beat him.
I only have exhaust and intake with your mods those times I gave should be right.
