I was very pleased that i almost had the 5.0 from the tree, i have that pass on video, and when i jump out ahead of him, ppl in the stands were like "OHHHHHH SHIIITTT!!!!!" i know his car is faster than that...most of his other runs were in the mid-14's. On the fourth run, i switched to the right lane...all others were in the left lane. I removed passenger and rear seats, rear tire psi was @ 25.5. I did a second gear burnout for each run...on my street tires (which now need replacing.) I launched wrong so i know that my 60' will get better w/ practice. The only thing's i've done to the car are my custom CAI, and the fan switch kept me right @ 180 all night long, even hot lapping the last three runs. I went to Gainesville Raceway in FL.

    congratulations Barky!

What type of switch did you use for your fan switch. I'm thinking about doing this tomorrow or wednesday.

i didn't bark off the line if that's what the barky pop is about...all i did was bog...next time i'm going to try and kill my clutch and feather it from 3000...i've got a carmax drivetrain warranty i want to take advantage of.

the switch is one i bought from radio shack that has a red LED on it so i know to turn the fans off when i get out...i had a different one but left them on by accident too many times. i can give you instructions if u need them for the fan install, just im me. Any non grounded switch will work. mine has an internal ground for the LED.

I think I might do that.

Barky is short for Mr. Barko, nothing more.
