• Going to track tonight.....

It'll be my first time actually going to a track...ever. I've never even been to watch. So, one of my friends(drives a 93 Z28)talked me into it. Any last minute things I can do? Anywho, wish me luck.

Yeah lets hear the whole timeslip. 10.95 sounds a tad slow for being 36* outside. I went 10.32 with intake and exhaust and it was 56* outiside.

That and when it's almost freezing your tires are alot harder. Just because it's a lower temp doesn't always mean faster times. The 56 degree weather is more ideal than 36.

Edit: Oh and for the record, last time I was at the track I ran a 9.912.

As long as you had fun Drake, that's all that matters!

10.9 1/8 = 17+ 1/4 though. Were you spinning off the line from cold track/tire temps?

BTW - if you go again, go with 1/4 tank of gas, remove the spare tire & jack, and lower the rear tire pressure to 20-25. Anything you can do to reduce weight and get better traction is a plus.

Stock and Studly, what do you have done? I'd like to get in contact with ya'll here in the off season (for me anways, damn frozen *** Iowa  ) I'm having trouble getting the times I want, but I don't want to hijack this thread to much, so we can talk some other place or aim ect.

BTW Stock, fbodytrader isn't coming up for me.

Back on topic, ya I guess I could see those times with it being your first time and all. Maybe try and heat up the tires more since its cold out even though they're street tires.
