You'll hit 15s, you just need a better '60. Damn, don't mod it, pretty soon your little Neon will keep up with my 'Maro.

Damn not bad james...

you might take my girlfriend's 00 Z24 out, best we mustard was a 16.3, I think a 16 flat is in it, it was her first time down the track ever in it, and my first time in her car with it.

congrats!

Hey James what was the HP and torque numbers for your car stock?

and with the 2740 race weight is that you in the car or just the car?

Just trying to compare it with the [dr. evil voice] Mini-Z [/dr. evil voice] (Z24) Course you have an advantage with a 5-speed. Just have to find the power curve and shift form there

Also to shift fast, just keep gas floored, and try to time the clutch right and force the shifter in, a little grinding noise never hurt anyone ;)

now rip the seats out, put a 150 shot on it, and you might be able to keep up with a WRX!

Only weight reduction is no spare tire and jack. I will not remove ANY other things.

HP is 132 at 5600 rpm's
TQ is 130 at 4600 rpm's
185 60 15 tires :(

My Neon ran 15.30-15.50's stock. But know it runs low 13's, maybe high 12's haven't been to the track since the new cams and race header. I drive my car everyday and it still gets over 30mpg. WRX's are no worry for me, I sent one home upset at the track. There are several SRT-4 Neons running mid 12's. The fastest all motor neon runs 10.05 in the 1/4.

I'm currently working on my friends V6 Camaro. I'm looking a set of the Pacesetter headers and some 1.8 or 1.9 rocker arms. Does anyone know where I can find them at?

Hey James,
Not to hijack the thread, but I was looking at your pics and I was just wondering how the hell you did that cool a$$ thing with the smoke shooting out in front of the window? Is that purging the nitrous system.
Whatever it is it looks crazy as hell. Nice chevelle by the way!
