• Attn: Stefan

I haven't disclosed the information about shot, boost, whatever, because of the way you asked. No congratulations, no nothing from you... just a rude way of posting in every forum and then telling me that I put a 200 shot on and prayed. You also attempted to degrade me in my own forced induction forum by bad-mouthing the Powerdyne to no end and saying that I had to "run a hefty amount of nitrous" just to see 12's. I think the members of this site can make a judgement for themselves by looking at how consistant my car is. It ran 12.5's (about 8 times during the season) before dipping into the 11's once (yesterday) and then running 12.0 twice (yesterday)with trap speeds excessing 110 mph. EVERY RUN yesterday broke the record. The other cars on the timeslip page that have run a low-mid 12 did that ET ONCE ONLY. To everyone else, please don't be offended by my lack of response to your questions. I went from probably being the happiest person on earth to someone who is becoming a little annoyed. I will not be responding to any more posts until later in the week. Thanks, love you all.

With all do respect Shirl, I ran many 12.50 passes with a best of 12.49, so it wasn't a one time thing, all on a 100 shot mind you  Also, my car ran a consistant 108 mph, so not EVERYONE made their timeslip page pass then went all to **** or never went to the track again, I for one ran on a weekly basis. I also believe everybody remembers when I slapped the 150 jets in, made 2 runs blowing the motor on the second, had the first run been a record breaker I would not have allowed it to be posted on the timeslips page. You did back your run up with a couple of 12.0 runs and your mph speaks for itself, however with just the powerdyne alone running 6psi along with your other mods you have a low 14 sec to 13.9 car. I'm not knocking you or your car one bit, as I congratulated you before asking my questions with no response. You have seemed to question me in the past when I took your spot on the timeslips page, I would just like to know what shot you where running, seeing as you are on stock internals and a stock converter in street trim

While this is probably something meant for email, I was thinking the same thing.

It would be nice to know your secrets Shirl...helps the community, but aren't we just that first and formost? A community? That means we support each other in success and failure. Acknowledement for success...encouragment after failure..

why would shirl lie about something like this?

i think shirl has a little more self respect then to just blurt out that she broke the record for the 3.8 fbody.

you never know, she could have slapped an intercooler on, ran 9psi, and the same shot of nitrous.

she could have also dead hooked that beast with some nice meaty tires in the back.

shirl is a badass. i believe her and her runs. i dont need to know what she did to the car to believe it. congrats shirl! people are just rude and are haters.

There's a difference between being curious of what someone has on their ride and belittling someone's accomplishments. It happened to her. Shirl, don't worry about the critisizm and jealously. That comes with the territory. Once again, congrats. ;)

fwiw, the 12.3 was done on only a 100 shot.

The right setup with the right air, anything is possible.

3800 series II are strong blocks too. Some GTP's ran 15+ lbs in the L67 setups and 12+ lbs in the L36 setups. I bet theres a few L36's on clubgp that ran 15+ lbs too.

My questions are by no means a way of questioning Shirl's runs, I am just a V6 enthusiast who wants to know. I think some peoples problems are the dissapointments in their own achievements after expecting so much and getting so little She backed up her 11.86 with a couple of 12.0 runs, which in my book is good enough to establish the record. The only reason I ask so many questions, is the fact the she is on stock internals, stock converter, street trim and is running the so so powerdyne unit. Sure I am full of questions, but my life is cars and I like to know what I can

Well, I am friends with both Stefan AND Shirl so here comes my 2 cents.

Shirl.....
I post my good and bad days.
I post my mods.

Just post your boost numbers and nitrous jets.

Shirl, I will be at Englishtown this Saturday.
Bring your car over to E Town, it is a MUCH better track.

Run with me.

That can clear things up. I'll even have a buddy there with a video camera.

I don't think Stefan made his post in a bad way, he is a numbers man, like myself.

Run the times and provide the mods as to how you got there.

I'm leaving it at that.
