    What I dont understand is why we are making this harder than it really has to be. All stefan did was ask a question about the SPECIFICS HOWEVER he may have come off when asking, whether it be jealousy,doubt WHATEVER. Thats not really the issue here. If she would have posted the specifics right off the bat alot of this could have been avoided. WE all have right to know what made it possible for the car to run what it ran. You do not set a record and provide absolutely NO information and expect people NOT to be skeptical. There isnt a magazine on this PLANET that I know of that would do an article about an 11 second V6 WITH NO INFORMATION on "HOW" it got there. So why should we be any different? If she wants her times recognized with no doubt then she will provide the info. I'm not bashing her either. Shes done alot to further the development of the V6 cars. more than alot of people do. I dont doubt the car ran 11's either..however I want to know HOW it happend. What made it possible.Thats all.

      My comment about the disclosure of modifications policy is that on the timeslips submission page it is very clear that power adder specifics are required in order to 'complete' a timeslips submission(unless the application is NA).

      I do not however see anything about it in the General Policies section of the website.

      So by this, to get your timeslip published on the Timeslips Page, you must disclose your modifications, but in order to post generally on the message board, you do not.

      I would then conclude that one method to reducing the amount of bs-flame wars and the like we see on this board would be to publish this policy on disclosure of mods, hopefully discouraging falsified posts(not suggesting Shirl's is...speaking generally).

      Now if i just missed it, please point me to it and accept my apology [img]smile.gif[/img]

          Shirls and everyone elses timeslip will be up ther ewhen I can log into the site again.. I can't access it right now.

          I don't REQUIRE people submit the amount of boost or N20 for timeslips, its only out of curtesy.

          I'd guestimate 9lbs of boost and 100hp of n20 to get her car there.

            I already see some replies that need to be deleted! If I could they would be GONE!

            Stefan, I know you and I'm a friend of you. I know you did not mean your post as a BS call.

            You want numbers, how it was done, and all the specific's. Prime example.... your own web site.

            I know I'm that kind of person also.

            I want to know all the HP mods, suspension mods, track conditions, weight, launch rpm, pounds of boost, amount of nitrous, tire psi, and so on.

            This is how I learn from people and they learn from me.

            You will NEVER see me admit I know all, if you ever comes across someone like that AVOID them!

            We all want to learn from each other.

            There should be NO secrets.

            My god, when we achieve a ground breaking result such as 11's I want to see ALL the specifications!!!

            I'm not bashing Shirl either. She is a local friend (and one of the few off this board who has gone for a nitroused ride in my car).

            Shirl...... you teased me!!! ;) (I'm not meaning this in a sexual way cause I know some of you people will crack jokes).

            11's and NO MOD LIST?????

            I am probably one of the MOST DIE HARD v6 people out there. I have strived for respect and the furtherment (is that a word???) of our engines/ cars in the performance world.

            Sigh, I'm leaving it at that.

            Oh yeah, I ordered a new fuel solenoid and I'm dropping off my bottles tomorrow to be filled for this Saturday. I am informing people now it will be a 125 shot!

                    I have sat back while this has gone on but me and James did speak of Shirl's Runs this past Saturday @ E-Town.

                    We both said out loud in front of other how proud we were of Shirl but wondered to each other how she did it "IE" boost, Jet Sizes hell even a different tire.....

                    James posts hit it right on the head. If the V6 Community is to stay strong then there needs to be encouragement that V6 F-bodys still have there place at the track. I am also a numbers person.....one of the reasons why I modded my Camaro Was because of people lke Shirl, James and Keith who showed all of us that you dont have to run out and buy an LS1 to run decent track times. The information that is provided helped me more times than I can count.
