My best I could get from GTech was a 15.42.
I have:
3.73 Gears $200
Zexel Torsen LSD $100
Whisper Lid $100
SLP Cold Air Intake $100
No Spare Tire
Flowmaster AND Cutout (15.54 was with cut out) $200
I see most guys running 15.5 stock. What could be wrong? Or is anything wrong? $700 is alot of money for .1
Any input is appreciated. Thanks,
John.
Factors why you may or may not run what you expect include, tuning, weather, traction, shifting(if m5) etc...

What are your pre-mod times? You should have taken it to the track and gotten baseline times, then done your mods, and take it back to get your true progress. G-tech is not accurate.

It is an A4. I really dont know how the best way to launch it and want to get it straight before I go to a track so I dont make a fool of myself. What is a good way to launch with a Auto? What gear? I cant get a good launch without spinning the wheels. Thanks for the speedy replies.
John
I wouldn't rely on g-tech's times. The only thing it's really accurate with is itself, and that's provided you duplicate the same conditions. How many runs did you make? it says in the manual to take an average of a few runs. But I dont think I'd trust g-tech for your actual times. I always wimped out on going to the track with my club cuz I didn't wanna have a Camaro that was only in the 15s. Then I realized it does take time to practice track stuff too, and I can;t wait to go now. I just gotta wait till next season when I wont be working as much. But everyone's gotta start somewhere.
