  • Mixed up times with the G-tech

So I was out playing with the G-tech tonight...
I forgot the road I ran it on was not so smooth... lol
First half is great, 2nd half is tore up so tell me what you think about what it told me.
It told me 9.01 1/8 time, but then it said a 17.01 1/4 mile @ 82mph! That is literally impossible to have an 9.01 1/8th mile and run a 17.01 1/4 mile lol

So can anybody tell me assuming the 1/8 is right (since that was the smooth part of the road) what my 1/4 should be?

MustangEater, what was your 1/8 time?

Gtech tells you 0-60mph time. It doesn't tell you 1/8 mile.

You went 0-60 in 9.01 seconds and ran the quarter in 17.01.

Yup, G-Tech sounds right. Get your butt over to general tech and find out why you're car is fooked up.

                    Yeah that makes no sense.
Beat a GT yesterday, but I run 17s with the G-tech lol

Are you centering and leveling it properly? That is the key to obtaining accurate results.

                        Leveled properly, yes.
Centered... as far as my eye can see. I havn't taken any measurements from outside the car to make sure its pointing straight yet.
I kind of gave up on it for a while as of yesterday.

@ the track I ran 15.0@90 with my stock cam.

I just put in a cam and my gtech said I ran a 15.4@ 95.5.

I don't think they are very reliable.

oh yeah, it says in the directions booklet that it tells 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time. NO 1/8 mile time.
