Still don't knwo why shane's time ins't up though, isn't he still the fastst non-juiced v6 f-body around? Same with the guy in the 3rd gen that ran a 15.7, thats really freaking impressive(I only sqeeuzed a 17.3 out of my 85 2.8L but that was my first and only trip to the track in that car, Ft. lauderdale sucks they need a track down there)

I think some of the top runners, that make a huge difference shoudl be updated first, like shirl and Shane, and the 3rd gen guy. Then everyone else who made a significatn difference in there own time. I hate to say it guys as much as you are happy, and I would be happy, the majority of the people around are really that happy with a jump from like a 15.3 to a 15.1.

    JSut my thoughts.

Yes, I agree. One of the only things that motivates me to go faster is seeing that other people go faster. Knowing what they did do to their vehicle is a bonus but you have to remember that just because 2 different people have the same mod that doesn't mean that it was done the same way. Labor and other work involved installing mods can never be exactly duplicated from driver to driver. This is what seperates good moders from great moders.

hehe that is the truth, in reality I did not have that many power mods compared to other 3.4Ls when I raced.

And with my 3.8L I am beating 65 people on the list my first time out bone stock. But I like to look at peoples 60's, and mph to see what there mods did. A time isn't always a great way to see what someone's car is capable of the whole timeslip is

By next spring and before I install the 3.4L, I do plan on running that 2.8L into the 14s. Seeing how the 3rd shift was slow on the 15.67 run, I will be putting on a new rear end w/ 3.73 gears and LSD, and I still have to install the headers. And yes, ALL of the information will be made available to anyone that is interested. Sorry to say that some good records will fall.

heheI would rather my record fall to a 2.8L 3rd gen then a 3.4L ;)

And a 3.4L in a 3rd gen I almost did the swap when I had my 85, but I decided full out go for a v8, ran out of money, car was prepped then I sold it to a guy at a car show, and got the 94 3.4L

Keith, in case you're reading this ... I'm at 7 psi on the turbo. Though I'm not the top of the PA list, i'll at least put my number in so folks can see what it takes to run a 14.3. Shane you're going down! Thanks!
