It will all come down to the launch. A stock GTP just doesn't have the top end to recover from a screwed launch.

It's ALL ABOUT THE 60' when it comes to these cars.

Edit: If it's hot out, that will work in your favor as well. Outside temp plays a HUGE role in the times these cars are capable of.

bragging rights... he has chickened out...

he is really used to ragging on 3.8Ls, his freind and I used to race all the time when I had my 3.4L and I used to win, then when I got a 3.8L he started ragging on mine, then he wrecked his lt1, and got a GTP(he is looking to start a family) and has been talking some trash... but then he saw me runnign the other day [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've beaten two stock GTPs when I had my ride, so it's not impossible at all. ;)
