you dished the same exact crap to me.. and now you can't take it?
You got a 3.8 taht does what it should in the 1/4 when before 3.8's where such crap and 3.4's FLEW!

hehe when did I ever say 3.4Ls were faster then 3.8Ls, never, Jesus Christ... I am not retarted. What I said is they are not that much faster, mainly not worth the trouble of a 3.4L-3.8L swap, but you said, 3.8Ls are god, and people shoudl swap to them... And I still hold up they are not that different... remember I have driven and owned both... you haven't.
I am done for now, girlfreind is calling for some loving and I need some sleep will continue to bicker with you after work tommorrow, that sound good to you? My bickering schedule has been kind of empty recently, I thought you lost your backbone.
Either way... good night and sweet dreams Magnus...

Cpuple hundred more nad you cna do an lt1 swap, which is actually easier hten a 3.8L swap
exactly...I knew it could be done for a few hundred...and 40 hp is quite a gain for the price. Reason I am questioning the LT1 swap is I know the cheapest LS1 swaps are still a few grand, I assume the same for LT1?

nah, lt1s are dirt cheap now days ... cheap to build too. Ls1s are $$$ :(
children, children stop arguing
i don't honestly consider a car running no spare and jack, or no serp belt, or open throttle body, bone stock. Stock engine yes, but the intake has been modified. Just like a lot of car guys consider induction mods and exhaust mods 'stock'.
The car didn't come from the showroom with an open throttle body.
thats awesome though that you got a good time out of it though. how long did you let it run before you ran it down the strip open TB?

Don't worry I know its not Bone stock... I don't consider it that, that is why I named the thread 14s for $0.
I think all I could muster is a 15.1 bone stock... maybe..
and yes I know 14s are week, and blah blah ran 14.5 with intake and exhasut. But what do they have? $300-500 in modifications? Only tool I even used on my car was 2 mechanical pencils! not even a wrench or screwdriver! And that was used to pop the pins out on the air box so I could take it out, and pop out hte C-ring and help me pull the MAF screen out.
Only reason I thought my times were significant was. I did not run spend 1 red cent on mods. All free mods, and I am still running the entire stock exahsut from manifolds to single tip exhaust.
And typically the 3.8's go high 15's to low 16's
unless you have a 00+ with an auto and 3:42's cause of the tubular manifolds, looser converter and LSD and gears
If the older 3.8's, 95-99 benifitted from what the 00+'s got then that high 15 low 16 range would move into the 15's all the time
