00+ Cars rule. Everyone knows that. BONE STOCK DOWN TO THE PAPER AIRFILTER my car went 14.92@91. After removing the lid and having a stock LS1 muffler installed my car went 14.73@92. It's all driver baby.

My bad, I didn't read the topic, it said $0 14's in a Camaro. We all know Firebirds are faster, duh.

If that is true then why is the fastest n/a and poweradder 3.8s camaros? Anything is possible in COLD weather, If the tracks were open around here and jersey, chicago, we all would run alot faster times, WEATHER!

Why not? I plan on having my n/a 3.4 in the 13s and with a little help <cough> Tiago's Turbo kit<cough>, I plan on being right behind my big brothers (and sisters). Nothing like a little comment to start the 3.4/3800 swap debate. ;)

Now you can get in the mid 14s by just removing the muffler and clamp in place of it a stright pipe. :D

If you didnt spend a red cent Im calling the cops. U stole thoughs mechanical pencils =/ LoL, I think the 14 hit is cute with pulling ur belt off. and open TB. But its just weather, not ur pro driving skills, all u have to do now is cut off the exhaust and pull the body all the way down to the frame, drivetrain, motor, seats and a steering wheel, and u'll have a 13 second v6 metal kart.. =/ for $0. U'll probly have to steal some tools to do it though. And ur Girl probly wont wont to drive with u anywhere, but hey, its ONly bout the time slip at $0 right? hehe I won't go that far...

I didn't pull the belt on this run, day but the other post I did... Just trying to see what I can do stock. And I am not a weight reduction junkie like some others...

Maybe it was weather... maybe my car is a freak...

But like I said done on origianl Eagle GAs, with 34,500 miles on them, at OSW, probably known as the worst track in FL, well OSW or Morosso in West palm, its a toss up, (Brandenton and Gainesville are supposed to be much better from what I hear)

And for the factory freak thing... Everyone said my 3.4L was a factory freak as well. I thought maybe it was too, but go figure, I had the luck to get 2 factory freaks.

first time I ran factory stock to the filter, ran a best of a 15.3, consistant 15.4s, weeks later, ran a best of a 14.9, and other times listed above with descreened MAF, and open TB and running no jack and spare, then 2 days later ran a best of a 14.6 with a open TB, descreened Maf, no jack and spare, and pulled the belt. Ran 14.6s consitant ~14.8s.

Cold front came through on Wednesday morning, then it warmed up for 2 days, and I ran on friday, weather was better on wednesday then it was on Friday, but I ran on friday, assuming I am getting more used to and consistant with the car(only had it a month or so)

BTW I did steal the mechanical pencils from work....

Yeah but your forgetting something,a TURBO is NOT n/a so 13s in your 3.4 with a turbo is nowhere near the same as 13s in a 3.8 all motor.
