wow, congrats man! just shows what can be done with a good launch! i finally pulled a decent launch a little while back, and hit a 60' of 2.166 and an 1/8th mile of 9.547 at 72.371mph and everyone called the on me... but looking at all my other slips, my next best time is 10.161 at 70.175mph with a 60' of 2.489! with a good launch, i have no doubt that i am capable of the times ive said and you have just shown proof of that! keep it up!

I leave it hooked up between runs I set it on the ice bags on top of my motor and during the runs, I wrap it around one of the brake lines coming out of the ABS unit.

not sure when i will have the timeslip up...

I keep trying to take pics with my ghetto webcam(after spending 30 mintues finding the driver for it online), but they are coming out crappy, and the girlfriend's scanner doesn't seem to work on mine or her computer anymore....

I need to stop by campus maybe one of the labs with a scanner will be open.

Hey MustangEater8251! I wanted to ask you the other night when I was talking to you in the lanes. What are you shifting at? Just curious and if you would rather not say I also understand that. I mean you sure have taken a lot of time getting used to the V6 f-body's and I understand if you don't want to give away your secrets. Awesome times again man. I wish my car ran that strong. Looks like you and I both need some 3.42/LSD in the near future.

Daaaamn this really makes me want to take my car to the track once I get back down to school. I wonder if Colonial Downs is a good track... I hope I can get into 14s with my mods. Well I damn well better that crap cost a lot of mullah!! I'm not sure whether the suspension will help or hurt my times though, I don't have any experience at a real track. I also think I need to run a bit richer at WOT because my exhaust get's really really loud but I don't seem to be pulling any harder, like it's not getting enough of something. I dunno, but great job on the runs!! Now I can be like the ricers and say hey I know this guy with a stock V6 f-body and he runs mid 14s! Hahaha, just like all those guys who know of civics that run 10s!! Cept you're for real!!

Wasn't really any wind out...

There was a tail wind on wednesday when I hit 14.9s... but not on friday whn I hit the 14.6...

As for my shift points... They are not exactly precise for me, 3 out of my 5 runs I pegged the rev limiter in the top end of 1st gear, but I would say around 5200-5400 maybe?

I need to open the exhaust up so I can hear what rpms the car is at instead of looking at the tach... that is how I did my old car, but this one I can barely hear that it is on. Hehe on a run against an turbo Talon, I thought it funny I could hear his BOV behind me, how my old car was, I was lucky to hear myself think

You ran the 14.6 with your serpentine belt off? How did you start the car?

turned the key...

car ran off the battery, if you have a battery with good charge it will have enough juice.

Or just add another battery to make sure you keep your voltage longer. Please make sure you install the 2nd battery in parallel and not series so you don't launch all of your electrical components.
