Thats what my swap ran today...

    on a 26x9.5 QTP tires I still spun on a 1.50 60'.. I spun to a 1.492 as well but on a different pass..

Just so everyone knows once again, the swap cost me $3800 before I modded the car. I'd say I put about $2000 into mods.

    Just a FYI.

US 41... they are open sundays weather permitting... track prep is not so good.. I got lucky as there were 3 of us big tire guys.. no radial peeps destroying the track.

Negative. I was warned about not having a cage, fire jacket and helmet.

I told him I already have the cage purchased, just need to install it... next time I'm out there will be NHRA legal *i think*

   congrats! Do you have suspension work? I've never seen a car that fast look like that on launch. It's up in the air on all fours rather than the front being up and the rear being down..

Thanks Shirl, thats 2980 lbs of raceweight on stock V6 suspension all around.

Its time for some front hals, a cage, and a right rear air bag... and a bigger meat.

Magnus my dad has this magazine, I will find which one it is if you want, but it talks about how you can modify some part of your car to where when the car launches it doesn't lift on the back like yours looks like its doing, it makes it push back down on the rear tires.

Are you running the stock rear sway?

if so you should put a bigger one in the rear, help keep the left rear planted a little better.

That's wheel hop. the rear will load, and then unload, and load again, ect. lca's will help that problem. that's prolly why ur spinning off the line. when the slicks unload, they lose some grip, so they spin. 1LE's will help that if ya want a cheap upgrade, or BMR is good for drag setups. I'm getting BMR chrome-moly poly/rubber combo LCA's put on in a week or so(basically when they get here). Magnus, could u e-mail me a list of ur "weight reduction" mods. I'm interested to see how u got the weight down to 2980.

Im not saying it is photoshopped but how is the from lifted up along with the rear lifted up? Any car i see with the front up the rear is always crunched down

Its lifted like that beacuse I don't have an anti-roll bar in back..

                              I do have BMR LCA's...

I am spinning cause thats a 9.5" wide DOT tire which is like an 8" slick or something, very small.

Weight reduction list is on my web page.
