my goal is to just run. i've never run my car on the track and im ready. it has a reprogrammed computer and im going to do some weight reductions and borrow some slicks, but i just want to see what she runs even though i know she bets mustang gts on the street. life is good for a camaro lover when that happens every weekend

Sadly, I don't have any goals yet when it comes to racing..I'm truly happy with the way the car is now. I still think he has an 11.7 or 11.6 in him (based on the fact that I came off of the juice on the launch of the 11.8 run)..but I wanna be careful not to push my luck too much. He has been more than good to me and I don't want to destroy him. I think next season will be mostly a "show" season for me with only a couple of trips to the track. I know I sound nuts, but my car is my baby...I'd like to keep it that way.

i totally understnad hwt u mean about it being ur baby. i live for my camaro and sometimes my fiance gets alittle jealous....lol

I've only taken my car to the track once and my best was 15.9xx. I'm hoping with the intake, exhasut, gears, N2O, some good weather, and sufficient time to let the engine cool (didn't do that last time, and it hurt...) that I can maybe hit some low 14's or even some high 13's...

That's nothing...I was with someone from the age of 18 until 27-28ish. Engaged and all, but a go-nowhere relationship...two totally different personalities. I still regret staying with that person that long to this day. It was the biggest single long term mistake I've ever made in my life. My car was the one thing that saved me because I focused on it so much that it took my mind off of a lot problems in that relationship...I started working on the car every night in my parent's garage (as an outlet) and when summer came, I started showing and racing and meeting a lot of great people in the process. I actual became alive again. I look at things from a different perspective now and really enjoy life. I guess my point in all of this is: be careful committing at such a young age. You only live once and time is valuable. You have your whole life ahead of you to make the right decisions.
