What are your goals for your 1st trip back to the track when it opens...
14.99@90+ would make me very happy
...but i'll need to borrow some slicks :D
1997 silver Camaro RS
|T-Type Powered|
Looking for a local F-Body club in K/W, Ontario, Canada?
With the 3.4L, the first couple of trips will (maybe I could the word 'should', but I don't) bring in 14s times. After some heavy tuning (foreseen and unforseen), 13s. And yes, I am taking bets.
;)
i don't really know what to expect for my 1st trip back to the track. since the last trip last fall, i've added a cam & will add gears as soon as spring gets here, plus a pile of other mods installed & soon to come.... come spring my car is basically a new car again :D which means i'll have to learn how to launch etc.
so i guess you could say my "goal" for the first trip is going to be: to learn how to launch my car good & run the 1/4. & i'll get faster from there
I want to break 12's on nitrous... Hight 13's on motor.

#1 goal for Jan 24 (first day Gainesville is open) is DON'T BREAK ANYTHING!! Rear ends always seem to break in the cold weather.
#2 - Beat last year's best of 11.888 (I will be doing alot of weight reduction, running a short belt, etc)
#3 - Cut a 1.5xx 60'

just want to get to the track, havent made it yet. now im starting to get some mods, I'd like to see what they can do....even though I havent been able to what the progression by ET's.
If I could hit a 14.99 Id be super-happy.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
