• Even newer Best :) on $0 in mods...

Yep New best on $0 in mods.... I unhookd the exhasut behind the CAT, no SES codes, but I think this actually hurt my car... it revs higher but does not have the umphhh... anymore.

Guess its a good thing Keith did not update the timelsip page yet

Best part is it was against a pre 99 Gt stang... with at least exhasut...

ME HIM

R/t .860 .657
60' 2.169 2.296
330 6.098 6.575
1/8 9.384 20.019
mph 74.96 71.95
1000 12.204 12.994
1/4 14.582 15.491
mph 94.88 90.61

left .7064

other runs of the night, 14.919, 14.7, and a 15 flat...

I was just starting to get the shift points down then I uncapped the exhasut monday night, and through of the shift points, I kept hitting the limiter on most my runs tonight.

Not sure if I will submit it yet, I might hit the track agains on friday...

holy crap, 95 mph???

i can't remember, did you say you have 3.42s or the standard 3.23s?

Stock 3.23s with open diff...

yeah I know it was my worst of the night... my r/ts were in the .6-.7 range nothing spectacular...

But they have all gone to **** every since I took a hiatus form the track when my old 3.4L was having tranny problems.

Least of my worries, I am more worried about how incosistant my times are... I want every run of the night withingt a 1/10th of each other...

I ran
14.9
15.0
14.7
14.5

I was all over the place not used to having the much of a difference but like I said... this is only my 3rd time to the track and I jsut did something to change my shift points up, and on some of the runs I kept riding it too long into the rev limiter.

Reaction times mean nothing when you're racing the clock.

Well when drone51 asked what all he had done to his car he didnt mention 3.42s so I am gonna go out on a limb and say he has 3.23s

Means something to me still, I want ot cut a good light... If I cut a good light .5XX-.6XX, and I come actoss and LT1 running 14.3s, with a .8 light, very likely I will win the race

So it still means something, For some excuses why I had a bad light, I went ot do a quick burnout, had car in 3rd, stalled it, looked stupid, then put it in 1st, quick burnout, got upt to line, almost immediatesly the lights went, they were "rushing" people through for the night, a fellow boardmember at www.camroz28.com crashed his car for the night, and the track was closed, for over an hour, staging lanes wer full at 10:30 at night.

The clock starts when you cross the beam. You could sit at the blocks for 10 mins if they'd let you and you'd still run your 15 or whatever.

It only matters when you're racing someone else as Eric mentioned.

I raced a buddy of mine in an 02 all year long and while i could only get within 3 tenths of his best time, I won half the races because of my reaction times He still had a better et, but it was fun bugging him about crossing the line first

Sorry matt ;)
