Thats a decent time for stock...so what of the rumors that these things are LS1 killers. Were you launching hard? Did the car seem like it had more then a 14.2 run in it?

mid 13s? Ive yet to hear of anyone hit a 13.5 or 13.6 stock. Rarely a 13.9 out of a good driver stock at good altitude and all. But with an experienced LS1 driver 12.9 is possible. Not to mention LS1s are topend whores and trap nice and high. Also its like 6-7 year old LS1 technology. Some newer '01-02s have LS6 blocks but minor changes. :D

Local f body guy has an 03 SRT4
BONE stock went 13.6

He did a minor boost mod, $5 mod, for an increase of 2 lbs and went 13.4

He now has mopar stage 1 and 2 upgrade and runs high 12's

As for experienced LS1 driver, 12.9 STOCK???

No.

Can it be done, sure.

Is it close to the norm, NO.

Oh, and 03 has an open differential.

04 has LSD and mopar stage 1 so 04's are quicker.

Low 13 sec car once they figure out FWD, boosted car
