I highly doubt you will be able to remove enough weight from your car to make any kind of noticeable effect on your elapsed time.
If removing the spare tire, jack, and floor mats has a quantifiable effect on your times then you probably need more horsepower, not less weight.
If it is your first time at the track your lack of experience is going to hurt your times, not a few extra pounds. I would conenctrate on learning to stage, your launches, and getting the timing of the tree down. Remember, if you see the green light, you have already lost.

Practice is more important
but spare jack... is all I woudl keep it to, I think most the other stuff is overkill.
But you wnat to get overkill...
Front sway bar, is like 20 lbs. off the, the unhooked suspension, and decreased weight in the nose help for better weight transfer, not much but some. (jsut remember the car will handle like *** ... so don't be stupid pretend you are driving a 92 GMC Jimmy with original shocks at 110k cuz that is what if feels like)
Bumper supports, I think they weigh like 50 lbs... there are some right ups somewhere, but you hit anything, your car is likely totatled and increased chances you will die. (friend of mine jsut totaled his 98 ls1 convertable, he ran 13.3s@like 105, and got sqeurly at the top end of the track, in the middle of a gear, bounced off both walls, most likely something on the track.
Seats and carpet, I did it once tooke me about 2-3 hours, main reason was I wanted to shampoo my rug thoroughly, been planning to do it for while jsut been too lazy. But then a friend wanted a race and I found out at 6pm the day before that he added like 3-4 more mods and we used to be dead close when we raced. I went from 3160 to a 3020, with seats carpet, and centerconsole out, my car was running like *** for that month since I messed up my exhaust.
Beyond that I would talk to Keith or James... they seem to be the weight reduction gurus...

sorry didn't weigh it the primary reasoning is jsut to loosen up the front suspension...
and you didn't notice a difference in how it drove? You must be, impaired, not sure how but impaired.
Peopel say a night and day difference between a 30mm and a 35 mm sway bar, its a bit bigger comparing no sway bar to a 30 or 28 mm sway bar.

no weight is good weight :D
really all you are gonna wanna do for a temporary weight reduction si the basics. jack/spare/rear seats and belts, front sway, only run 1/4-1/2 tank of gas, get rid of the dirty laundry, clean out the cheeseburger wrappers, and get rid of teh 900cd's you put in the car for summer cruising
weight reduction is common sense mostly. if something is easy to remove and you wanna see if it helps, do it. one sure thing is that carrying less weight won't hurt your et. if you plan to make the car race only i can tell you how to get hundreds of pounds out of the car that no one would ever notice

Hehe are you going to thunder valley? Heres what i did (yes they let me run):
Take off your hood, front seat and back seat.
Time before that : 15.83
Time after that : 15.59
Time before i already had jack and spare out.
TIRE PRESSURE IS KEY! Have the fronts at about 40-45lbs to relieve rolling resistance. Better for topend.
As for the backs, you want them low enough to get traction, but still high so you wont lose topend. At thunder valley, i would go about 27 lbs.
Also, if your going to TV, go on the 1st. Theres gonna be a bunch of us from COFBA there.

w3rd ... its printed out , hangin on my wall as we speak
however i feel that the AC compressor and condesnor do not weigh nearly that much ( well on my 3.4L anyway). i'd guess the compressor is 15 or so, and the condensor is around 3 tops-Aaron, AKA ATL2001
93 3.4L
www.ilfba.com
