• 1/4 gains from SLP Ram Air???

i was wondering what kinds of gains you guys saw from the slp ram air at the track. i am mostly interested in any trap speed gains at both 1/8 and 1/4 mile.
the car in question is a full weight '02 5spd camaro if that will make any difference.

thanks
tim

did you see any pick up in trap speed?
that sounds like a good bang for the buck gain to me

if he saw .2, he saw a few mph more trap speed, obviously...

Not necessarily "obviously"... some mods may help you off the line or through the midrange WITHOUT affecting your traps...

theres a general rule that .2 is about 2-3mph i think.....

i know that there is a certain time/speed increase, not sure if thats exactly it, but there is a rule...

^ qksl2 is right. That's not always true. I've done enough drag racing at the strip to know this. I gained about .2 tenths after I added my ram air kit and didn't gain a lick on mph.
