    The I1, I2, I3, and I4 slots were all 0's.

I actually felt my car was running better than ever that day. Hey tellez, what kind of cars go friday and saturday, cuz thursday night is pure v8 so i feel kinda awkward being there. i'm not going again til thursday feb. 19th (thats my next day off when track is open), maybe u can go and see what i'm doing wrong and give pointers or something, i just really want to get that time down.

Is your track at a high elevation?

I thought all of Texas tracks were low elevation. Even with a crappy 60', your trap speed should be alot higher than 83 mph. Something isn't right.

if you could post yoru 60ft times that would help a lot.
from the variation in your time/trap speeds it looks like you were no where near consistant getting off the line.
look at the thread with the tips and let us know how your next trip turns out.

the 60' times were not on the timeslips, not sure why. if it helps any, i have 3.08 gears with open diff., the only mods performance-wise is the ram air from suncoast creations and the flowmaster muffler. when i'm on the streets i have raced lots of mustangs, firebirds, camaro's and only lost once, but those are all while driving so we're already moving. i have always noticed and it might be the problem that my takeoff is pretty slow. its a really bad takeoff, like i won't race on the streets from a stop light because my takeoff is so horrible. my brother just bought a 96 manual firebird, and he took me for a ride and his takeoff was alot better than mine. any ideas on why this might be??

man i thought this post had died a long time ago. anyways, yea the ac was off. i wasn't flooring it from the start because then the car would just peel out for awhile. i've been practicing takeoff on some back roads and have felt an improvement, but if it really helps we'll see. do u all think the lower control arms i just installed should help?? my car hops alot for like a good 3-4 seconds (its lowered and i had switched from 16's to 17's), so this hopefully should reduce it a bit.

Those 3.08s pretty much kill your et. An LSD and some 3.42s or 3.73s will help those times out a lot.
