Thats right guys new top 3.4L N/A record...

My reign has come to an end... :(

    15.39@86.98mph
My old 94 3.4L camaro, possibly on stock intake.
    -Gutted interior
    -drag radials and skinnies

I am trying to get him to come and post and submit his times

Now will you pansies get off your a$$es and start getting some times with your cars! The car is not modded that much, especially to the rest of you guys, just setup nicely

Nice -- but I'll be there soon :D And as soon as I finish building the new motor I'll be WAY past it. ;) 17psi + 8:1cr + Built Tranny + 3.42 rearend = Deep in to the 12s (for a V6 anyways). ;)
    Mustangs.. Come to the darkside...

The dark side is the path to the shadow of greed. =D

nah. My NA build hopefuly will be down there. Since I'm going low compression I wont have really any internal work done. Most I'll have done to the motor aside from bolt-ons will be throttlebody, ported intake (lower 'n upper) and P&P heads. Then ofcourse transmission, rearend, and rims+tires. I'll be down there As soon as that is all done I make it low compression.

Wanna know the sickening part? he ran the cutout full open, when I dorve the car like clockwork I owuld shave.2-.3 off the 1.4 times iwht the cutout partially blocked off

Personally I know*not think* for a fact that the car has a good 1-2/10ths in it...

but he has gutted the interior, slicks, skinnies, and weighs a good $100 less then me. I used to just drive to the track change the air pressures, and run it. Full street trim.

too bad I gave him all the keys :( I want my 3.4L back... especially now, he put a tranny, tires, brakes, paint job/fixed all body blemishes and working on a new interior :(

ported heads are the most important part of what you will have done, the bottom end has nothing to do with horsepower, just reliabilty

                      Never....

                      by the way...

here is a quote from him on another board.

quote:
Yep, that would be me........ The car is being driven by my girlfriend until all the other swap stuff is completed. I've got big bucks tied up in the new motor, next I'll need to spend serious dough on a 200R4 that can reliably handle 675 lb/ft without breaking. In the meantime, after swapping out the trans, I wanted to see what the car could do. I swapped the DRs and pizza cutters from my T/A, unhooked the front swaybar, no interior or radio, a cone K&N borrowed from the GN, 1/3 of a tank of gas and ran that pass on the first run. We got shut down early due to rain so I could only get two runs. I still say there is a tenth or two that can be shaved if the clutch holds, but doubtful I'm going to push it. It did cut a 1.94 60', with a few tweaks I could probably get it down to the 1.8xs, but like I said, not going to push it. The trans shifts like butter and I want to at least sell a working 3.4 & T-5 when all the other stuff goes in. I may actually keep the 3.4 and use it in my Fiero, but that's down the road.

The goal is high 9s @ 134 ish, target weight of 3000 lbs, able to be driven to and from a cruise with zero drama. Once at the track, switch 02 sensors and race fuel, when done switch back and cruise home without a trailer. I've acheived pretty close to that with my GN, but admittedly it doesn't handle anywhere near as nice as an f-body in the twisties. It's also not as light so it doesn't ET and MPH as high as the Camaro will. I'm not cutting up my GNX clone just to go quicker.
