SO the race fuel hurt your times? What did you do? run the tank down at the track, then drive to a gas station, and put some regular in it and ran faster?

Race fuel will not neccesarily hurt you, maybe just not help you I have run 100+ octane in my 94, didn't affect a thing just made it smell cool(reason for race gas, was I was sputterting so I put 1.5 gallons of race fuel in for the last 2 runs and drive to gas station after the track closed) Long term woudl effect o2s(if your in a FI car)

Timers are screwy...you say you cannot control your wheelspin but you hit a 1.7 60'? Thats hard not easy to hit, especially on stock suspension... What gears do you have(Yes I am asking a question could you please answer it, even asked politely) Stockv6cam hit a 1.8 on drag radials and 3.73s... which lead to a nice time but not so high mph... Also what tires are you on, Drag radials, slicks, definitely not street tires, unless you converted to AWD

and still running low 16s? with a 97mph trap? That means you might have spun and got a horrible run but like said you had a 1.7 60', which means you probably hooked well.

The first couple runs seem about right... I forgot what my 85 2.8L trapped but it ran mid to low 17s... I bet you could get a better 60' 2.3, is a little high, maybe a 2.0-2.2 depending on your gears, which woudl dip it down to the high 16s.

to help, my old 2.8L, had a K&N filters, bottom of the airbox cutout, 3 or 4in. tubing tunning to the grill and some sort of aftermarket exhaust, had a nice rumble. And a Accel ignition coil(also plugs and wires). I actually still have the ignition coil.

You are a f***ing liar and now you have proven it to us. The only game to are familiar with is lies. My car traps at 95-100 mph and I don't put out low 16's. If you really thought, you would have come up with a better lie.

there is nothing i could have done, huh, how about try driving my car differently, considering my brainless idiot that you are, i have said before this was my first time on the track ever, with any car you stupid idiot, now you have me buying into your hostility, you dont know me but i can guareetee one of the very few things in this world that is totaly true i dont lie anything and any one who knows me knows my reputation and word is above reproach because i dont lie, this is what i have been saying all along, nothing but dribble, nothing ever helpful, your site is filled with back biteing, trash mouths like yours dribble give me something of value for a change ok not your meely foul mouth dribble

        Reputation?
What reputation? When you are telling people of tall tales like 9s V6 n/a runs and 16.3 w/ 95ish trap speeds, you have a horrible reputation. We help people on these boards who ask questions, not tall tales. We are still helping the people on this board by letting anyone who doesn't know better that you claims are obsurd. Please explain to us how you think you are helping anyone out by your claims.

MustangEater, I would't waste your time. He OBVIOUSLY isn't going to answer any of your questions. Remember, he's all about helping everyone out. That's why his 'project' is so secret.

Could not have said it better myself!

I and many others have helped many a many other people. As for times with the 60* v6, I am usually the first to back them up... I would be willing to accept a 97mph trap speed, and a decent ET from a 60* v6, but you came up with b.s. numbers...

If anything you are the one polluting the site with useless dribble...

Also so you are saying by changing driving styles you gained 20 mph? Do you know how big of a difference 20mph is on a car? I am not even sure there woudl be a 20 mph difference if you went down the track at half throttle, then the next run full throttle!

I suppose you could push the car down the track the first time and then run it the second time. Like, between runs I increased my mph by 80 and took a whole minute off the ET!!!

Man, I went golfing a missed a lot, this thread just gets more amusing every time I look at it. Hey Elvis how about you post some real slips and I'm sure these fellas will be more than happy to help you. I mean hell MustangEater is asking you questions, trying to figure stuff out, and you are taking offense to it.

                      Jerriko the site is...

                        ?
Has anybody else visited this site and read about the all and mighty elvis. People are telling him things that he should already have known with his crack research group. What a joke! He didn't even know that backpressure was a bad idea for forced induction.
                        Geez!

there was this one time, a FWD eclipse ran a 14.6 @ 861mph!! and I have the timeslip to prove it!! he ran it against me! in fact, he got it out all over the internet and when no one believed him, i whooped out the slip and they said holy crap track error!! track error!!

Believe me, I can understand track error but come on. I mean, 16.3 @ 95ish mph is almost as believeable as a 3rd gen 2.8L mpfi running 15.67 @ 85.1 mph.
