I didn't see any gain.. only 1 mph...if I'm reading that correctly. If that's the case. It's a waste of money.

9.45 before 9.27 after how is that not a gain

thats .18 a sec in the 1/8mile could be worth more in the 1/4mile and 1 mph more

that was with hotlaping the car, had I let the car cool im sure it would of been more, also may have seen more had I run the car more, but I had a party I had to get to

Correction on that..1 mph, but .18 maximum gain in ET (on only one run). All of the other runs are very similar. The one run could've been the result of changing conditions during the day. Did it get drier out? Cooler? What was the barometer? I'm a little skeptical because there's not enough of a gain, (or consistency), IMO, to pay about $400 for the programmer.

            2.10 9.27 75.19 6:54

there was a total of an hour that past from me runing a best without the programer at 9.45 at 5:30 and an hour later at 6:30 I ran 9.28 followed by a 9.27

to progam everything I did takes the progamer about 20 mins or so which is why I had no runs from 5:37-5:59 that and I watched a friend run low 6's in the 1/8mile(= high 9's in the 1/4) and he was all motor

after I programed it I made a couple runs wasnt happy with the results so I went to watch a few bad *** cars run, then was like a computer that was just programed isnt gonna run fast out of no where it has to learn, so I was like screw it and started hotlapping the car for 25mins or so

how else am I supposed to test this it takes over 20 mins to program, and it does take a few passes to start learning

send be 20 bucks and ill go there do it again only as soon as its done ill start running it again and wont stop

I didnt plan on seeing gains with what everyone else has said so when I did then I was like hrmmm everyone else might like to hear what it did, but why no one else has seen gains is because they didnt give it enough time to learn. No one on here I bet that tried their hpp3 has started to hotlap their car after they programed it, they program it thinking they are going to see gains the next run they make but it takes atleast a few runs to learn then they get mad they didnt see gains so they go back to stock and the computer has to relearn again and they run slow again. I made this mistake the night before.

With your manual fan switch and the 160 degree thermo programming from the Hpp3 you are probably better hot lapping as far as car temperature goes. The coolant will actually be going through the engine/radiator thereby cooling it down. Unless, of course, you have an electric water pump.

With my manual fan switch I get better times and higher trap speeds after a few runs. I just keep it on all the time.
