Front wheels cost about $125 ea if I remember right. Tires were around $60 for the pair, mounted and balanced. Two spacers were about $10, plus about $25 for a set of lug nuts (they require long ones) and washers. So all together that comes to $345 for two skinnies ready to go on the car.

I assume that skinnies are not good for Daily Driving. I really want to cut-down on rotating mass.

I used to drive around more often with my welds on than my chrome 17s when I had Nittos on the back. Now I have 27" ETs and only put them on at the track and for the occasional saturday cruise. They handle alright, it takes some getting used to, and I'll be the first to say that it's not very safe to drive them on the street. You can't swerve in emergency situations (if there's something in the road, you're gonna hit it) and you can't stop quickly either. It's also definately not a good idea to take a sharp curve going quick either; I was always afraid the tire would roll off the rim. As long as the roads are in good condition and you drive carefully, you should be alright when it's dry. Wet conditions aren't that fun though.
