have you tried putting a lot of air in you front tires so you have less resistance on the front like around 55-60 psi?

1st two runs hooked but clutch slipped...

3rd run clutch slipped through 1st, 2,nd and 3rd... but on the return run, gripped hard, was able to get a good pull in 1st, and barked the tires in 2nd.

4th and final run clutch slipped a gain, but still ran a 14.8@91 for best of the night...

Either way guys think I am going to be out of the game for awhile. I think it was just the car sitting and the clutch cooling down too much, because later tests, of putting car in 5th and driving has the car almost stall out.

Also once car is warmed up it catches well...

just been a thing spent waay too much time and money on cars. I am going to stop racing/modding for awhile, need to focus more on the girlfriend, work, and school. Maybe out of the v6 game for good. Hopefully I will spend less time on the net as well...

Either way see ya guys around and good luck.

Booooo! The day a woman comes between you and your muscle car, is the day you hand her your balls aka MARRIAGE!! But even then you gotta lay the smackdown sometimes!

Anyways, if you're really gone for good, take it easy man. And thanks for giving us V6 guys a ricer-ish style taunt like "oh ya? well I know this V6 guy with $0 in mods thats running mid 14s!!" Hahaha

hehe... and for the record. I just said wanted to spend more time with the girlfreind, she thinks its crazy I am getting out of the game, she is not "making/asking" me to do anything... Doing it on my own...

I am just making different decicsions... Most recent... 7 day cruise with my girlfreind and 3 other chick friends... instead of a set of drag radials and skinnies. Girl didn't force me, just seems like more fun going to mexico and other places, getting drunk in the sun with a group of freinds, then putting drags and skinnies on my car, have my clutch slip, buy a new clutch, then have my rear go, repalce the rear with LSD and gears, and have my tranny go, rebuild the tranny, then break a torque arm, put a new torque arm on, then by that time need new rims/tires.

Been through that cycle... costs too much If we get a townhouse, I am going to buy a 302s, maybe do a forged stroker kit on it, slap a huge shot of juice on it, and maybe throw it in a 4banger foxbody since they seem to sell for like $1k, clean and running well.

can't race the daily driver anymore, reason why I sold my old car, wasn't reliable enough to get me where I needed to be.
