• Finally Ran the 1/4

The day was perfect! I had to hit Bradenton asap. So Here are the times of my 3 runs

Run 1. Warm up

R/T. .209
60'. 2.332
1/8 10.404
MPH 65.70
1/4 16.218
MPH 85.05

Run 2. Worked on launch

R/T .142
60' 2.400
1/8 10.291
MPH 67.74
1/4 15.974
MPH 86.56

Run 3. I killed this nissan!!!

R/T .309
60' 2.304
1/8 10.122
MPH 68.64
1/4 15.739
MPH 87.58

Not to bad for a 94 3.4 with 130,000 plus miles on it!!! Once I get LSD along with 3.42s or 3.73s, I am sure I will be much happier with my times.

Why?

.142 is nothing special. If he was bracket racing he would have already lost with that R/T.

I think a perfect at bradenton is like a .200 or maybe a little higher. But either way, I know I did get the red light on that run, I saw it out of the corner of my eye as I took off.

sure do. The cam is not that big though but did make my car a whole lot stronger in the upper RPM range. I should have gotten 1.6 ratio rocker arms while I had the engine apart also some high energy push rods would have been nice.

What do you mean, is this a good time or a bad time since I have a cam?

hey if you do do the geas and lsd, do a driveshaft at the same time... I woudl also even consider a poly torque arm bushing, Its a ***** to put on, you have to drill out rivits, but when I had it on, I noticed a difference with traction... Assuming you do a rear axlw swap and not jsut a gear and lsd install.

I was lucky I convinced my tranny guy to through it on during one of my many rebuilds
