New cam baseline... went alright

Alright, well I went along with the train and got me a big bumpstick over winter and i got it to the track today. Wasnt too sure what it would do considering there isnt anyone else running the cam i chose. pulled a decent 14.70@92 leaving at idle, 2.15 60' with a 9.40 @76 1/8mile. I need to raise my shiftpoints and rev limiter tho, i hit the rev limiter in every shift. Also I think the car is way out of tune, I need to get it to the dyno and widebnd it to see what is really going on, but I think with a bit of tuning and a harder launch I can see some 14.40's or better... Oh, my cam is 210/220 .512/.512 115lsa its a nitrous cam, but thats not going on the car til i get all the small bugs out of it and make some good motor runs. I need to lose some weight too, my car is a heavy pig 3500 with a half tank of gas and me not in it...

Along with the nitrous I am gonna get a converter and some better gears. so I think theres potential for a good running v6

put that thing on a dyno before you pick out your gears. sounds liek the motor is gonna have a long enough power band to ask for a bit more than the 3.73's you list in your sig. it is a pretty big cam and gonna use up a lot of rpm.
sounds solid, keep us updateed on how the tunign goes.
do you have tunign software adn are gonna fix it your self or are you plannign to take it somewhere to get it tuned?

Well, I am waiting for Diablosport to release their Predator tuner for the 3.8L, it was scheduled to release in Jan but they pushed it to June I beleive... I think right now i am gonn a see what a MAF+ and a hypertech can do... My car needs some more upper RMP's... it hits the rev limiter hard in first and hits it in second but the shift speed is still decent.. Hope to get the car dynoed sometime this week, tuning wont happen til the money comes my way though... I'll keep it updated as the news rolls in... Cant wait to seewhat a 100 shot will do with this cam..
