Mods don't have to be functional but from what I see is he is a tool... typical "F-body owner" if it were the 80s, he woudl have a mullet...

As for his car beating the piss out of mine, I coudl give a sh|t if it could or couldn't... My "racecar" is about as stock as you can get at the moment. I sort of don't mod and race much anymore... I jsut come here for some info and help some people get better times... not just to come in and say "neons are gay" and leave.

I just think its sh|tty to call one of the more respected members gay, and calling his car gay, James has put up some great times and helped out the v6 community even before there was a v6 community more then some little twerp with shiny rims.

I am not his mother, but I am however one of his good friends that I see quite offten and I am not going to let some tool in Flordia talk sh*t about his car.

I think its cool that he has gone so far with his v6 that he needs a daily driver, and its cool that its a decent looking new neon. However I think that a majority of this board will agree when I say that we don't really care what it runs.

I respect James and everything he has done for this community. I have talked to him numerous times on AIM and he is a cool guy to talk to, and he is always lending a helping hand around here.

I am not on Jame's nuts. I actually really never even talk to him. And I don't care too much about someone calling someone gay, I am usually laid back. But what did James do? He ran a car, and posted his times about his neon. I like to hear what other cars run, especially when no one really posts anything in this section anyways. I am sure alot of other peopel wonder want ot know what he is running cuz a 15.7 beats a decent amount of 3.8Ls, and 3.4Ls I have seen. And he is lightly modded.

If you don't like the thread you don't have to fecking read it are my thoughts... why come in and bash his car, or him racing it?

I don't care if James is offended or not, I am still going to call LordofBling an *** if he comes in.

I will admit his car is pretty clean(good color ;) ) But I will stand up and say I think SS hoods and spoilers are gay actually really fecking gay is what I am thinking.(see I don't mind calling things gay) I just usually like to sit back and not say anything, its there car let them do what they want(like James' neon), until someone is a tool about it and trash a car for no reason. But if he is going to attack someone who is cool and didn't need to be attached I will attack right back. YOu might say ooo you have ZR1 rims... but does anyone in there right mind think I have a ZR1 vette? No but some people might think, wow thats a cool SS!

But I still don't have any info on LordofBling's car... he doesn't seem to be coming into this thread anymore but I am willing to bet its not faster then Jame's car, who obvioulsy knows about racing 3.8Ls...

Guys ever think that since Jame's car is down getting a new rear, and maybe breaking it in, he wanted to go down to the track, run some times just to practice the tree and going down the track? He is planning on running at AIS and has some steep competition, well maybe not, I think he will toast Stefan...

You are just as guilty of the stupid "call it a ricer" mentality. I run an SS spoiler. Not because I want it to look like an SS, but why dont you compair an SS spoiler to any other spoiler for a camaro. Nothing compairs in looks, period. So dont say its rice or "gay"... its the best looking appearance mod for the rear end. Period.

Oh and just to calm you down, theres a nice big 3.8 V6 sticker right underneath my SS spoiler. IF your stupid enough to think its an SS i dont really care for your opinion. In that case your probably just as likely to think its an SS if you see ZR1's like on your car.

Something like an SS spoiler is 100% only on a SS camaro(hence why its called an SS spoiler)

Zr1 rims are very different they are not SS sepcific, no one has ever thought my car to be an SS, because I don't have an SS hood or spoiler. LordofBling does.

Don't bother crying about how its not ricerish and gay, I will think it is, and you are most likely not going to change my mind. I doubt I will ever be able to make you guys think an neon can be "not gay" thats why I don't really try... but when you go be a tool and try to look cool by bashing a car, I am going to call you out on it.

btw guys give it up on the rims... my mod is still a performance mod(try an put 275/40/17 on a 16x8 [img]smile.gif[/img] )... If I put a motor from an ls1, most people would not think I am a poser... they woudl think ahh he is upgrading his car with a motorswap...
