I only have 2 horspower affecting mods, and they are both top end additions. Plugs and wires don't help HP. Removed MAF scrn is still debatable. Whisper Lid & K&N.. 5 - 10 hp up top. True dual exhaust maybe 5- 10 up top. Really no way to tell without a dyno. I'm going to get FTRA, put on my headers and start getting ready for a rearend and tranny upgrade (KDS hoss rebuild and a 3400 stall verter.. :D ). Hopefully with those mods and some tires I should be mid 14's.
2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Current best ET. 15.232 89.09 MPH 2.175 60ft on stock 3.42\'s and open diff.<a href=\"http://www.geocities.c

great times but... its not stock...

hell I slipped up and said my car was stockish, not even stock(after all I didn't add anything to it, everything was facotry assembly line original except a dealership replaced clutch) and people jumped on my a$$ and roasted me for it.

      great itmes though...

My information was off on my gears. The dealership told me I had 3.08's, I went to the tech database and got the information to decode my car, and I have 3.42's and an open diff. Sorry for the confusion.

I would suggest getting the SLP Ram air kit for around $130. It gave me about 3mph and about .15 off ET. I just ran my best last night 14.904 @ 92.57. That's with 5speed and an Auburn posi with original 3.23 gears.
Current Mods: SS Rims, CPR Boxed LCAs, Whisper Lid, SLP Underchin Ram Air, Pro 5.0 Shifter, 235/60/15 BFG DRs, Monster Tach w/ shift light, posi w/3.23

Future Mods: Ultra-Z hood, 4.10s, Y-pipe back exhaust, !CAT, Battery Relo, Custom programming

Nice times Timbo! One day I gotta get going and make the drive up to Thunder Valley. One of my good friends lives up there while he's working for Halliburton, and runs his 98 TA at the track often. I'll make it one day to visit, hopefully we'll meet up!

Thanks Matt. That would be cool.. I'm looking at getting an LSD so I can get into the 14's with good track prep.. :D I've got a line on one, so we'll see what's up. Since these runs I do have a new best R/T .064. I've been working on my lights since the track prep at TV has really been shabby the last couple of times I went.
