• First time with blower, going back for a "13" on April 3rd

Best time:
__RT .070
__60 2.242
_330 6.026
_1/8 9.124 @ 78.53
1000 11.835
_1/4 14.108 @ 99.78

I ran a 14.1, a 14.5, and a 14.3.
The first run was the fastest, as usual...

Street tires, 18" wheels, 60 degrees, Powerdyne blower, no spray.

That's compared to 15.43 in this car without the blower, similar temp, same tires.

I know... I pulled 1.8's on some borrowed ET Streets last year. A higher stall converter would help with the launch a lot too.

I pulled 1.9's on my bfg's last year.

I did get down to a 2.10 today, when I lowered the tire pressure from 31psi to 28psi. I was having to relearn how to launch with the blower. All last year was on the spray...

On April 3rd there's a bunch of f-body guys getting a track for a day. So I WILL get my 13...

I noticed that the other 3 powerdyne numbers near me on the timeslips page all have 14.0's. I'm going to get into the 13 club.

I will have the bfg drag radials with me this time! (and the front skinnies too, for good measure)

Oh yeah, and I'll remember to loosen up the setting on the front Koni's so I get some weight transfer this time too... doh!

The other factor I'll be changing, is putting the IAT sensor into the lid like it goes. Right now it's just sitting out under the hood. The reason that this is a significant problem, is that I'm running maf-less, or in speed density mode. I just learned today that IAT comes into play in speed density mode. So the hot underhood temps make the pcm think the air is less dense, and I get less fuel on top end.

Thanks for the support!! :D

I flipped my fmu lines today. I had them reversed. Now the fuel pressure rises steadily. This should solve my problem of running too rich on launch.

Also got the iat sensor mounted the right way now too.

I think all that leaves is tires and shocks...
