  • Strut Tower Help the drag times?

I know the strut tower brace helps stiffin up the the body going around turns, but does it help at the drag strip? Or is it just extra weight?

    Thanks

It offers no benefits on the drag strip.

Technically it stiffens the chassis of the car and less power is used "twisting" the chassis of the car at the launch, and more is put down towards the ground to help you launch with more power to the ground...

But for your car probably won't help much.

Unless you're doing a F&F wheelie like in the Charger, I doubt a STB would have any positive effect on your track times. But mine is so light I'm too lazy to take it out, all praise chrome moly!
