• Good drag racing photo

This isn't f-body related just a general drag racing photo (although the car is a chevy!...umm, at least I am pretty sure it is)

This picture was taken by my friend with his very expensive Canon Rebel something or the other digital camera. The quality of the picture is awesome (this picture is even resized down a lot from the resolution of the original image the camera took) and the content is cool as well.

Two things I like about this picture:

    1) Check out the wrinkle wall tires on the rear of this car.

    2) The guy in the lane not visible got schooled out of the hole. The subject of this photo is up in the air and on his way while the car not in the photo is still staged (hint: look at the tree)

      pfft...

I should scan the 8X10 of my car I bought at slp day last year...

My 3.4L sqauting and launching out of the hole and in the background watching with his arms crossed a guy with a big *** mullet.

      GREATEST PICTURE OF MY CAR!

looks like it's a 55 chevy bel air... could be a 210 with bel air trim though. everybody knows how frequently base model cars become different trim levels throughout their lives

                Nice pic!!

I managed to get a decent wrinkled tire pic of my car the last time I was out at the track. Had the pic been taken half a second later, the driver side wheel would have been up... Anyways, here's the pic:

                HERE

Next time I hope to get a better picture from further in front, with BOTH wheels up

Thats a pic of my wrinkle and air. FYI, my rear tires are at the beams where the front tires used to be (i'm coming down). The tires are at 12PSI i think.. which is why they are wrinkled so much.. BAD IDEA.. I was hooking better AND handling MUCH safer at 15-18 PSI

The camera he has is pretty impressive. That picture was taken with a telephoto lens he was actually fairly far away when he took that. You should see the original picture! His camera is a 6 Megapixel camera. The original picture, before he resized it to make it Internet friendly, is incredible.

correct, there are no safety breaks.

I wear a helmet now and am in the process of installing a cage.

I also have to purchase a 5pt harness, a firejacket, a fire extinguisher and a transmission shield.

The cost of going fast. :(
