    Headed to island tonight, 4/16

    hey gang,
    i am heading up to island dragway with craig griffis and foff667 for a little fun. i will be armed with a camera most of the night.

    I almost went there tonight to watch some of my friends race. One has a red LT1 Z28 with built engine going for 12s. My truck has been down for a few weeks so no racing for me anytime soon. :(

          Did you show up on Sunday Shirl?

          I was there with Craig. He made three passes in his '02 Pewter 5spd. He had a little trouble shifting, but he cut a new best 60' of 2.081 [img]graemlins/banana.gif[/img]

            Hey Justin, yeah, I watched from about 1-3pm. Got plenty of sun... it was really crowded. A good day to watch [img]smile.gif[/img] Got some sun and relaxed with my man. Didn't see a pewter 6. Saw a couple of SS's, Vettes and Mustangs. Ton of cars..I'll probably go again next weekend..

              Heh....if you think that was really crowded, you should head to Atco on a Friday night.

              There were just too many ricers. Although Craig was having trouble shifting, he still got to smoke that blue mini cooper S twice - the kid driving that was pretty bad - he cut a 3.0xx 60'!

              Tim (NJSPDER) just got his car, so we'll prolly be up there again this coming weekend.
