• Average night at the track and a great run on the way home

hey guys
went to island to watch craig and foff667 run. foff had soem tunign issues and craig had a fairly average night, still working on that whoel traction at launch thing. he got a few 15.2's and a 15.5, for his last run we decided to try the open MAF thing to see how the car responded, and he missed 3rd gear, so i guess we get to try that one again next time
teh best part of the night was the drive home. cruising down rt31 we hit teh light right after we got off teh flemington circle heading south. we were in the far right lane, and what appears in teh far left lane....a mustang all done up in the Steeda kit. he had the body kit, brakes, wheels, exhaust...blah blah blah.
the mustang throws a rev and craig looks at me, my first words are "you are gonna get owned", craig's response"i know". so of course we ran teh guy
well thelight changes, craig get s a perfect launch and we are going through teh gears nicely. when i looked over the mustang was behind us...YES, BEHIND US!!!!!!
craig ran it into 3rd gear(he actually hit teh shift this time:banana:), up to abotu 70 or 75mph and let off as we could both see the power of teh V8 starting to change teh story. at teh point lifted teh mustang was still only up to his door though.
it was a great run, stanger prolly thought he accidently found a Z28(cause those guys are dumb:slap:).
the look on his face was priceless, he was shocked as hell that he handled what was at least a GT with exhaust work up to such a speed.
there were some cool cars at island, track actually seemed fairly well prepped, lots of damn ricers though.
