  • tires spinning before I launch

I got an auto so when i go to the track I power brake to get a good start, the only problem is that my back tires are spinning before I take off and I think its slowing my times down. Anyone know what causes this and how can I fix it?

You're power braking to high up in the RPMs. Sounds like you're running on street tires also with not a lot of tread.

Get a torque convertor to fix the problem. Or don't stall too high. If you're spinning a lot of the line,,you probably shouldn't be power braking in the first place.
