I tried shifting myself and I always got lower ET than if the computer did it. I would stick with the computer auto shifting.New Toy Red 94 Formula LT1

At the track I put it in drive, but normally I just put it in OD. It even says in my owner's manual "for better acceleration, use Drive rather than Overdrive" but I don't feel a difference anyways.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/sean37\" target=\"_blank\">Black \'97 Camaro</a> w/ CAI, catback

Just leave it in either. It won't help/hurt you either way.

Actually if you want the truth, you can't shift more efficiently than the tranny does on it's own. Do a little research and you will find this out for yourself.2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears.
