I dont want drag radials yet but I want something with really good traction. I was looking at BFG's traction T/A. Anyone have these?

You want tires for track use or for daily driving?

Good traction of the street and at the strip are to different things.
Street tires need a lot of sipes to get good traction.
Drag tires need less sipes to get good traction.

I think you should concentrate on getting that open diff fixed first. 14.9 with a cam is horrible.

nittos will last longer if you are gonna drive on them on the street. BFG's will probably hook better but wont last as long.

awesome. Thanks for the answer guys. I appreciate the constructive critiscism too. however,I was a virgin to the track when I ran the 14.9, I know my car can do better than that, I still have to learn how to drive better. There are guys on this board who run two tenths better 60's than mine with an open differential. It will improve.
