The only thing I had done was a PCM flash after the gear swap. I am going to get the custom tune from TSP in the next week or 2.

Raise that tire PSI, if you're not spinning then the low pressure could be making you bog the '60 and it will affect your top end.

Try flashing the converter (stomping it from idle) there's really very little point in stalling your converter if you're not having traction problems.

You don't need to do a burnout on street tires, avoid the water box as much as you can. If you run through some water, spin the tires just enough to get the water and junk off.

I am thinking it may be something internaly with the engine. Would a transmission fluid change help or a readiator flush?

do you mean get rid of them or change them?

The temp guage was reading right at 190 to 195. I did let the car cool down a good 45 min with a bag of ice on the block after one each run.

i think he means to get a set of performance LCAs... perhaps that and a tubular torque arm would help?

i dunno, i would be very weary of just throwing money at it.

Today was my first time at Track:

Here is my time with my girlgriend in the car with me:

                  60' : 2.413
                  1/8 10.188
                  1/4 : 15.788
                  RT : .626
                  78F

                  I've a manual...
I can't understand: I can't avoid to spin my tires on the track... on the street they doesn't spin like this...
I have to work my launches...

I believe the stock stall is about 1800 in our cars. I had the best luck stalling to about 1800- 2000 and nailing it on the 3rd yellow, I got a 2.17 60ft doing that with an open diff. I just sent my PCM to TSP and am expecting much better 60ft's now with the verter and Tq mgmnt minimized... ;) BTW I've cut consistant 2.0x 60fts since the verter install but Tq mgmnt has been eating me alive so we'll see what I can do once I get the reprogrammed PCM in there.. :D

My 60' is right on track with yours and I have 3.73s..I did get a 2.349 once though when I hit my 15.69. I did the same thing as you(HP tuners) and I hope that fixes it. I think traction control is stopping my 60'because my tires will not spin from a stop but make about 1 rotaion when I hit second(in an auto). Please tell me if the PCM helps.thanks

Hopefully I will find out this Friday at the track if the PCM tune helped.
My best 60' is 2.30 and that was on street tires with 3.08 gears, my 3rd run ever at a track LOL.
                            my 60' average is 2.414.
