You disconnect the IAT sensor harness and insert a 4.7K ohm resistor in place of the sensor. The 4.7K ohm will fool the computer into reading a 57º ambient air temp, then the computer alters the rate of timing advance.
As far as the emblems, bite me . I could care less what people think, I like it and that's final. Do what you wish to your cars, leave me to do what I wish on mine. Sounds kinda harsh, but you guys need to just give the emblem thing a rest. If you don't like it, don't look at it... it's that simple. Rice? Hardly....

I'll have to work out a pic. The best description I can give you is:
Go to Radio shack and pick up a package of 4.7K ohm resistors (about a buck or two) . Take one, bend it into a U shape and clip the ends so they are about half an inch long. Unclip the IAT sensor harness from the sensor located in the intake elbow. Insert the U shape resistor into the end of the harness to simulate the sensor and tuck it out of the way. I put mine in a film canister to keep out the dirt. The sensor can stay in the intake tube, the resistor and harness can be tucked away anywhere. Also, remove the resistor and reconnect the sensor when the temps go below 57º during the winter time. ;) This mod is best during summer months when the sensor gets heat soaked and throttle response seems to get lazy.

Your car, your choice. I am gonna go put WS6 badges on my car... it already ends in 6, I am set... no modifications needed.
If that's what you want, then go for it. Just because I have a couple of WS6s doesn't mean I'm going to rag on someone for putting a badge on their car. That's like ragging on someone's wife for wearing lipstick because it's not their natural color.

don't mind hawgs he is just he resident a$$hole of the board... he just gets cranky when he hasn't gotten laid in awhile.
Hawgs why are you even in this thread?
You don't have a 3.4L...
You don't own a 4th gen camaro...
You are not in Florida...
You are not planning a Grand national motor swap...
You think modding and racing a v6 is dumb...
Only reason you came into this thread is as usually talk sh|t about someone else. Or to talk sh|t about the 3.4L...

Guys... Let's just settle back for a moment. Remember that we're in this for the love of cars, performance and drag racing. It would take considerably more that this for anyone to really get under my skin. I was trash talking and drag racing when most of the guys were still a gleam in their parent's eyes, I've just grown out of MOST of it. Let's just get back to the business at hand which is the love of automotive performance.
Since we're on that subject, I will accept any form of critism with this car after the end of the good old fashioned quarter mile duel. Once the swap is completed, I'll be more than happy to run against any challenger. I may win, I may lose. For me to lose, just know that it's gonna take a bad MOFO to do it and that's the only person I'm going to even remotely listen to. That's how one learns. So basically, if they aren't running a sub 10 second run, I don't give a rat's hind end what their opinion is. :D

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
