i have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 M5 with Z28 exhaust, jet stage II chip, !air silencer, and free ram air mod. we got there a little late so i only got 2 trial runs before bracket racing began. First race i ran a 16.0 after a horrible misshift on the 1-2 shift.
2nd run was a 15.7@90mph.
then bracket racing began, i set my dial in at 15.4, hoping i'd have some better runs and knew my car was capable of it if i could get good launches...
3rd run was a 15.7@89mph (got a decent launch with minimal wheel spin and managed to win because my opponent who also had a dial in of 15.4, ran a 15.8).
4th run i ran a 16.1@89mph, but went on because my opponent had red lighted...(HEAVY wheel spin off the line on that run)
5th run was my best run of the night, although it was my last, with a time of 15.6@90mph...i was VERY proud of that, thats what i was shooting for was low 15's and i finally got it on my last run.
Let me know what you think of my times and if those are okay for a first timer, thanks.
