maybe 25' tires would put you close to 6000 rpm, if you gain some top-end hp or pull.
Clark, I never said that PHR's help in drag racing, but it is part of my rear suspension modifications, so I put it in.
Clark, lca's should be the first rear suspension mod for the cost and gain. dr's won't grip for anything if you have wheel hop from the suspension flexing because of weak bushings and stamped steel arms. lca's will help street tires bite. before I put in my TC, I has intake, exhaust, programmer, and 3.42's in my car, and dead hooked w/ lca's on and 255-50-16 tires.
sfc's help prevent chassis twist, keeping both tires planted on the ground, and keeping the lca mounts from flexing, possibly causing wheel hop.
you have a lot to learn about our car's clark.
back to subject. i think u should stick w/ stock height for now, since you don't wanna go taller, and work on the top-end pull of the car, as well as traction off the line. Some things to help these area's:
top-end: springs and lightweight retainers(easy to install w/ heads in the car), lightweight pushrods, lifters, if ya wanna go into the block again. these will let that cam work it's magic at rpm's above 6500 where it will make more power, just because that's how it's designed w/ the duration and LSA you have built into it. the extra 500 to 750 rpm will show hp gains compared to what you get now.
traction off the line: launch technique, relocation brackets, sfc's, bigger swaybar(cheap mods that make a difference, prolly brackets, then sfc's, then swaybar), drag radials, springs/adjustable shocks, torque arm.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

Has anyone recommending sfc's and such asked if he's hopping?
I race the guy and i dont' see him hopping.

I agree. With the set up you have now you should focus on your 60'. You are set up for some serious 60' times if you can learn to take advantage of your set up. I would think that with the right suspension and technique you should be cutting 60's well under 2 seconds. Didn't see it posted but are you running D/R?

Also I know clark runs 14's I belive mid 14's and only has intake and exhast. It would appear he knows more then you too.

i don't really care if he's faster or not. If this is gonna start turning into who's got a higher IQ, I have an average 183 from a few psych tests.
If you have enough money, you can be as fast as u want. Since I'm getting myself through college for my psych degree and spending money as I save it for my car, it's taken me some time to do the things I want.
My PHR didn't help my launches at all, and I got the BMR phr relocation kit(which stiffen the rear chassis more than anything), and the BMR Rod-ended chrome moly phr. I haven't noticed any gain in my launches from it. I have noticed a stiffer feeling in corners from it, quicker response out of corners, and better control over the rear end.
