Trap is pure horsepower.. but it doesn' t matter. Only thing that matters is your 1/4mile time. I'd rather run a 15.3 at 87 then my 15.6 at 90

good point. i just cant wait till this fall. i should have everything in order and ready for a good night at the track. the only mod i plan on doing by then is a fan switch. i know my car. it will be in the 14.9 area.

My trap speed varies: some nights I'll trap 88, others I can't break 86. You just have to hit the right combo of good track prep, good driving, and good weather conditions to hit a nice et with a good trap speed. I hate my et because I know my car is faster than what the 1/4 times show, I just have to hit the track on a good night.

Damn, I didn't beat it. My best was 15.72 @ 86.67. Just have to wait 2 more weeks to run again.

Speaking about trapping speed, I average around 86.51 over the course of 38 runs. My fastest trap ever was 88.39 and that was with 3.08 gears.
